Binh Quoi is a resort style theme park with its own weekend buffet that offers all sorts of Vietnamese food and then some. You can easily kill four hours plus here since there's plenty of entertainment for young ones too. All the local herbs are grown on display here and you get the sense that you've stepped into the Mekong Delta region when you come. They try their best to authentically replicate a rural sense of living while maintaining food at certain qualities. The buffet ends very early, so make sure you get there early as well. The only downside is that it's rather far from District 1. This is not really a good dating place because it's loud and chaotic. Conversing with your partner might be difficult, but then again many locals don't really talk on their dates anyways.
If you're a returning VK, I highly recommend bringing your family here. I normally don't write about restaurants or do reviews and shit because this isn't that kind of blog. You're deep in Vietnam for reals here. The surrounding grounds are worth a stroll so I recommend coming shortly before sunset for photo opportunities. Then again, why am I recommending shit? This blog ain't one of those blogs! Remember, SoJournaling Vietnam is all about my hatred for Vietnam right? I'm only supposed to write about how miserable I am and how I resent Vietnamese women because I'm secretly a FOB homosexual Cambodian right? STFU and just enjoy this for what its worth. Absolutely nothing.

So people just go on dates and sit in Silence there? lol.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this seems like a good place to go to.
