I know. I know. There's not much activity here, but I have been posting daily videos on my YouTube channel. You all should check them out and tell me what you think. My grandmother died a few days ago and I'm dealing with a grand-parental death for the first time in an environment that isn't necessarily friendly and accommodating towards a Vk like myself. More on this later.

my condolences kyle. may all be well with you and your family
ReplyDeleteHi Kyle:
ReplyDeleteMy name is James and I'm a fellow blogger here in HCMC (www.flyicarusfly.com).
I'm organizing a small, informal get-together for some Ho Chi Minh bloggers. Sally from www.unbravegirl.com is coming from China (she won the Best Asian Weblog this year at http://2012.bloggi.es/). Others that are coming include Barbara from www.thedropoutdiaries.com and Dyanne from www.travelnlass.com and myself. I was thinking of an informal chat perhaps over dinner or coffee just to talk shop.
I'm basically looking for a selection of different kinds of blogs / bloggers with varying amounts of experience. I came across your blog and thought you'd be an interesting addition to the group...
Tentatively, I'm looking at next Tuesday evening, July 17. If you're interested, pls contact me at james.flyicarusfly@gmail.com
Thanks.
James
Hello James, thanks for the offer but I can't imagine spending time with white people here.I don't have much in common with them. I only hang out with VKs and local girls. thanks
ReplyDeleteKyle,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your random daily stuff videos! I think it's more fun to watch than the ones you do for a particular trip or city. The daily videos allows us to see some of the normal activities that you experience in Vietnam.
Is your cousin single? I'd like to marry her and take her to the states.
