I love the arcade scenes in Sài Gòn. Only in Việt Nam can you find a crowd of girls around a 4-player machine that has them shooting innocent fishes for power ups. Please include clips of the popular arcade hangouts in your next video blog.
Hey man, your blog and vblogs are pretty awesome, been reading for so long I forgot how I stumbled over them! I'm half vietnamese but I can't speak the langugae. I've been thinking of taking a year off from university to live in Vietnam for a year, as I'm eagering for an adventure and I think it's about time I learn Vietnamese. Would be cool if you have any advice :P
My only advice is to come here with a plan and with money. Don't come here expecting to find work or live off of a few hundred a month. Come visit here first before you decide to live here. It can be pretty miserable at times if you're not around the right environment or people.
Hey KimBim, I spent a year in Vietnam before University. I would recommend that you finish off your degree before doing anything. That way you'll have a lot more opportunities when you do decide to move there. I would also recommend about visiting Vietnam for a short period before you decide to move here as suggested by Kyle.
Hi KimBim!I think that the adventure of living in Vietnam will be an exciting and remarkable experience for ya!I always think that if you keep on pounding in your same place where you can end up playing it safe and leading a predictable and often boring-existence then you will miss the thrill of living the life with all excitements especially here in Vietnam!Anyway just view life as an adventure Kim!and the adventure of living has not really begun until you stand on your faith legs and claim...the resources of your life!So move to Vietnam for a year ASAP Kim!!!!
